Since my birthday game will be on Wednesday, I was planning to keep the discussion for that game in here unless the fact that it is a Greinke/Bumgarner matchup means that there will be enough discussion for that one that people want a separate thread.
I think we could fit all 4 games in here without the thread getting too long though.

True, its still early, but I think this series is a very important one in the long run. We already started behind the eight ball and have 3 tough series coming up starting with this one. We need all the momentum that we can get right now. I believe we have to at the very least split this series heading into the weekend.

Nice to see Archie throwing 94-95 again, but his location still not very good. Even before he got hit, he still walked a ton of people.
A miracle he got out of that inning with no runs scoring after loading the bases.

35 first inning pitches. Not a good sign. What can we optimistically hope for, four innings?
Amazing how a 1-0 lead after one inning can leave you frustrated.
