The Astros come in with a 1 game lead on both the Twins and the Angels for the last wildcard spot. They need to win 2 out of 3, and it probably does not matter what happens in Minnesota and Texas. In that scenario, a tie would still be possible if either team sweeps the weekend. We have a chance to play meaningful games, this is our playoffs.
On the other side if, somehow, we were to sweep the Astros 3 straight; then we would finish with a .500 record. I would call this season a success at leas, I thought we would finish in the 74-76 win range.
Dallas Keuchel vs RDLR
In his last 7 starts, Keuchel has pitched very well, with the exception of a game on Sept 16 where he allowed 9 runs in a loss to Texas. He has allowed 11 ER against us in his last 5 starts (24 IP) vs AZ, but much of that was one 6 run game.
The Dbacks have a better record in their last 20, at 12-8 as opposed to Houston's 9-11. In the month of September, Arizona was 14-13, while Houston was 11-16.

I wish that these games were meaningless for the AL Wildcard because Houston is one of the teams I wanted to see in the postseason.
They sure would be more interesting to me than the Angels or Twins

Who's the first coach that should be unemployed on Monday? I vote for Harkey.
I can't do pxp Saturday or Sunday, weekend is day shifts, not mornings.
Altuve
No Astro has had more than two 200 hit seasons? Would have thought Biggio did...
strikes out

Actually, most of the damage came as a Red Sox and Dodgers.

Well, looking like we won't hear about Mt. 500 anymore if this keeps up.
