It was 5 years ago today the DBACKS hired KT.

What will we be saying five years from now?

As long as Derrick Hall and Kendrick are in charge, it will not matter.

Why the fuck are Ahmed and Owings at the top of the lineup?

Back on Sept. 11 Wood started for LA and Owings went 2-3 and Ahmed went 4-4. But Only 1 of Ahmed's hits were off Wood. He got one each off Baez, Johnson, and Thomas. Owings was safe on an error against Johnson, and struck out against Thomas.
Expecting Wood to do better in his home park. At Chase, he was about as bad as it gets giving up 8 runs in 1.2 innings

73*
no wind
outside 2-1 change
swing and a miss high heat blow by 2=2
fouled away right
low and in 3-2 with the fast ball
strike 3 called at the knees fast ball
1 out

Owings
check swing takes a high strike 0-1
Already this is not the Wood we saw at Chase
flare right field fading toward the line
Van Slyke runs it down
2 out

Pollock
high fly right and Van Slyke has this one also
so Hale's brilliance doesn't come through with a big first inning
Blue coming up

Now we'll see how far Ray goes tonight
Ball 1 to Ruggiano
fast ball strike 1
grounder to the hole
off Drury's glove deflecting it such that Ahmed was in no position to get it
goes into short left
single

Kendrick, fast ball strike 1
outside 1-1
Ray 1-7 under the roof at Chase
throw to first
with that kind of record, Ray might be better off pitching elsewhere in 16
high 2-1
snap throw to first
fouled right 2-2
fast ball inside @95 3-2
Ray has only won 5 of his 20 starts
roller to Goldy and he can't handle it on the backhand
E-3

Van Slyke
17th time in his career hitting 4th says Vinnie
Fouled back 0-1 @95
BADLY needs a K here
Ray 0-4 on the roads
foul right 0-2
little swinging bunt down third rolls foul - Ray needs a better 0-2 pitch than that
we got a break-
swing and a miss on a curve
and he gets the big K for the 2nd out
depending on those secondary pitches at times like these
nice work

Fouled off by Seager on pitch 15
high 1-1
low and in 2-1
outside 3-1
and now it's an intentional

Ellis
looking for the fast ball
19 pitches
gets it and fouls it, was low and outside but he went for it 0-1
pops to Ahmed, a few steps to his left and just back on the grass
so 21 pitches, but he stops them
scoreless after 1
