The Dodgers lead the season series 11-4, they took it 15-4 last year. The Dodgers come in at 13-7 in their last 20, whereas we are 8-12.

Chacin vs former Dback Farmhand Brett Anderson. Anderson has had two starts this year against the Dbacks, a 5 inning 4 run outing and also a game where he went 7 and allowed only 1 run. Goldy (7-13, 2 HRs, 5 RBI) and Pollock (6-15) have had success off him, but after that not much. Scrat and CO are a combined 4-22 off Anderson. This is only the second time in Anderson's career he has been healthy enough to pitch 150+ innings.

Other interesting head to head matchups the next few days are Yankees-Toronto and LAA-Houston. Today is DD49's bday.

We finally get to see Kershaw and Greinke again this series. Been missing out on them since April.

Another dagger for this season I guess.

I consider myself fortunate that I get to watch the masters at work, like Zach Greinke and Jake Arrieta and others. Just watching them drive batters crazy, even though they might be ours, is a sight to behold.

Greinke and Kershaw are already one of the great duos of all time. We were fortunate to have Schilling and Johnson. LA has these two. These guys are classic examples of how it's done and I hope everyone connected with pitching in our organization learns therefrom.

And also encouraging is that we have a duo in Corbin and DeLaRosa who could become an impact tandem in the years ahead. There are times when RDLR is out there at I swear it's Bob Gibson in his prime. When the camera does a closeup of RDLR I see the fire of anger and determination in his eyes, as Gibson always had, and that says he has his sights set on greatness and is ready to do whatever it takes to achieve it. There are times I get so frustrated and discouraged with this team, but there are the gems of greatness that emerge from time to time that seem to say this team still has a chance to be a winner.

appears that Hale has stacked the order with as many right handed hitters as he can find. Two of the big four pasture minders are left handed, which explains why one of them, EI, is in the lineup. Maybe Owings should be a second, IDK?? :?

Drury should be at second and Lamb should be at 3rd

If they never let Lamb face lefties, he isn't going to become a decent hitter vs. lefties in the majors.
