I am looking for a reliable used car. My seventeen year old would be the primary driver. Any suggestions?

Look through Craigslist, I sold my Hyundai on it. My brother bought his altima on CL. I think he paid $2500 for a 98. He is more mechanically inclined than me though, so I think he did fix up a thing of two.
The car I have now is a 1997 Dodge Stratus and was my grandfathers. Still runs great, my friends Dodge Ram has 150,000 miles on it and runs great also.

My van got totaled. It was rear ended by a kid over at Marana highschool. Sad to see the van go, I had 203,000 miles on it and it was still going strong.
