Had an idea inspired by thechive.com's Chive Charities. Nothing complicated - they have an idea to help somebody out, rally their base, and make it happen. We might not be able to help out on the scale they do, but maybe we could do something Diamondbacks/Baseball related. Something as little as helping a local family with a sick child go to a ballgame. Tickets/parking, hot dogs, and sodas for a family that can't afford it themselves would mean a great deal. Maybe we could reach out to the team and see if a player could meet up with them before the game, give them a tour of the locker/dugout/etc.

It sure would be great to help out some families that don't have the means. Especially during seasons like these when all there is to do is complain.

So if you have a neighbor or see/hear/read a story about a family that could use a boost during a hard stretch, post it here. Watch the DBBP community rally for the cause.
