In the '90s the NBA went to knee-length shorts, now it's sleeved tops. Next is jackets?

Heard on the radio (KTAR 620 AM) that someone (not a local pundit) has picked the Suns to go 18-64 this season - 30th out of 30 in the NBA.

That's their goal. One more horrible year to pick up more high draft picks and maybe pick up a key free agent the next season too.

The strategy for success in the NBA, characterized as, "In order to be good, you first gotta suck," is a real head-scratcher to me. Not that it matters too much to me, not being a fan of the NBA...

It's effectively the pathway to success in every sport... Acquire core pieces in the draft, build roster of role players around them over 2-3 yrs as talent develops, then contend for championships once core pieces have developed into top-tier players; hope they don't leave for larger market at FA.

Not just under 30, Gary, but all men's shorts. It struck me as odd that men were suddenly at that point in history hyper-modest about their legs being seen, and that fashion has stuck.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Suns sending Gortat, lee, Brown and Marshall to Wiz for Okakor and 2014 1st round pick, source tells Y!
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Draft pick will be protected thru no. 12. Suns own four picks in loaded 2014 first-round.

An intelligent move by the Suns FO?
Is Jerry Colangelo there, hiding in a broom closet, slipping suggestions under someone's door?

Ryan McDonough is doing an amazing job so far, I'm really excited about the future with him making the decisions.

All I see when I hear the Suns have 4 draft picks in the best class since 2003...
Is an image of Robert Sarver with dollar signs in his eyes thinking "TWELVE MILLION DOLLARS"

What a pleasant surprise this year's Suns team has been! 19-11 so far with a Vegas over/under for the entire season at 19.5 wins.
Today new coach Jeff Hornacek was named Western Conference Coach of the Month, and deservedly so.

I know I'm what's wrong with the league, but as great as it was to see the team succeed with a bunch of 2 year contracts and role players nobody expected to stick around past next year, are people happy with the result?
The NBA is in a place right now where if you can't win the title, you should race to the bottom, and the worst spot you can finish is as the best team to miss the playoffs. Figures that is exactly where Phoenix ends up...
I mean, I'd be more content with a poor year with the same playoff result and taking a chance on a stud like Andrew Wiggins over a lot of wins but still no playoffs and Doug McDermott.

This year's Suns roster was seen as an intentional tank to do just that. Vegas put their season over/under at 19 games, but somebody forgot to tell these players. I'm thrilled with what happened on the court and their 48 win season. Gotta love this video!

Hahaha that was awesome! Definitely a very fun season, it's a shame they didn't reach the playoffs but they are in a very good position with McDonough/Hornacek. Thanks for the video TAP!

You're the 1%. Reading Suns blogs, everybody would be on board.
A lineup of:
Bledsoe/Ennis
Dragic/Green/Goodwin
Lebron/Warren
Carmelo/Morris
Plumlee/whatever(Len if not traded)
This would arguably be the best team in the West.
