I am sitting here bored on my day off with nothing to do so I decided to create an expansion team from scratch. This is Baseball Mogul 2010.

I was hesitant to play as the Dbacks, only because I have a tendency to make the same moves every time I draft an expansion team. This is not 100% historically accurate at all. The computer AI likes to (I think) randomly protect players. Another thing I dont really get is the Rays AI will attempt to draft a team that will win now and then suck majorly in ensuing years. I am setting the difficulty to the third highest for the first time (I usually play fan mode because I like to win all of the time ) Another thing is some players, like Lee and Webb, are already on the team. The point is to give you a starting 8 and a couple of pitchers. Obviously, I am not going to put Webb in my rotation as an 18 year old (but i guess you can).

(the AI just made a trade between Houston and Cleveland with Biggio and Williams as the centerpieces, WTF?)

I deleted that season and created a new Dbacks franchise. Starting in ST 2009. I did Coach mode (medium difficulty). I just won the 2011 World Series against the Rangers. Scherzer threw a 3 hit shutout in game 4 followed by a Webb gem 8 innings of shutout ball for the clincher in game 5. CY the Series MVP with 2 hrs, 9 rbi, .381 BA and .480 OBP.

2011 Dbacks won 100 games.

I have Soria, Kershaw and Chamberlain. Soria was a FA signing, the Dodgers offered me two relief prospects for Kershaw and I was like HELL YEAH
