Hat tip to Oden
So...the record for starters going on 3 days rest in the post season is especially poor, ERA's much higher than all other pitchers on normal rest. And the guys that start on 3 days rest in the post season are always the team's best pitcher or two.
Dave Cameron wrote an article on this and suggested the Astros should turn this over to the bullpen at the first sign of trouble.
I agree.

Uh, yeah. And first as an AL team. Kind of important.
Tonight they join the Brewers as the only teams to make the playoffs in both leagues. The Kansas City Royals were initially asked if they wanted to go to the NL, but they declined.

Go Astros. If they can hold onto their lead (up 2-0 halfway through), Sabathia missing the playoffs to dry out won't be an issue for the Yankees.
Yankees get the leadoff on in the bottom of the 6th. Grrrr.

I remember seeing the 2005 World Series Trophy at Tucson Electric Park (Yeah, Spring Training used to be here way back then ) I actually touched it. It was just there, on a table, no one guarding it (hopefully only for a second or two )...just walked up and touched it. Thought it was awesome. I was 20. My mom was less than thrilled I did that, however..........
I want Houston to win, because I really want a Toronto-Kansas City ALCS and think that the Yankees will give KC more problems. Nothing to really back that assertion up, though.
Gods please let there not be a "Battle of Texas"

I just want the Yankees to lose. Period. At least in the 7th inning, things are going the right way.

Just looked at past LCS matchups, there is a possibility of a repeat of 1985. Cardinals-Dodgers and KC-Toronto.

Yeah, me too. Lately the Cardinals are up there with the Giants to me. Let someone else have a turn.
My mom's a Dodgers fan, growing up in Agoura Hills, so I guess I could root for them...and just hope Puig goes 0-theseries with 8 errors.

I wouldn't mind the Astros winning it all, but I want to see a Cubs/Blue Jays world series.

Well, my only hope left for a COLD, potentially snowed out world series game in the AL City would be KC.
NL still has 4 of 5 sites that could deliver on that dream

Season over for the NYY!!! Yeaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Go Bucs! Send the Cubs back into futility once again...
Although this is the year, according to Robert Zemeckis, that the Cubs finally win the World Series; although they did it by beating Miami, so...

May the Cubbies prevail, at least over the Cards.
