How about ten in a single inning?

Granted, it's Double-A ball; but even so, ten walks in a single inning? Wow. Twenty batters came to the plate; one of them walked twice in the same inning. Here's how it went:

Of course, in a game last season between the Blue Jays and the Twins, the Jays gave up eight walks in one inning; and in a game in 1949 between the Yankees and the Senators, the Senators walked eleven Yankees in the bottom of the third inning.

All in good fun - unless we start hearing that our quest for starting pitching leads us to the Springfield Cardinals...
