Have a feeling this thread will still see a lot of action, so no reason to muddle the catch-all thread

Starting a new thread is bs. We should have moved the old thread.

Agreed, but better to have a new dedicated thread than having every post in the ex DBack thread be JUp oriented

and I also hate this thread and will hate every post herewithin

3 for 3 , 2 hr, 6 rbi today.

The first one off rodrigo lopez and the second off colton murray,, who unless you are a prospect hound, all you need to know is his spring uniform number is 89.

The braves scored 17 runs off phillies today.

So basically spring batting practice. still ............

If the uniform numbers of the players on the field exceed 720, should the fans get their money back? We started to add up the numbers in Sunday's A's game, but we ran out of fingers and toes.

I remember one game where the outfield totaled something like 278.

I think it was 91, 92, and 95. At the Brewers' game on Saturday there was Lance Roenicke with a 92 and at least someone else in the 90's. I should have paid closer attention. The split squads are the best for this game.

Justin Upton just hit another 450ft HR outside of a dbacks jersey.

I guess his power stroke is back. Amazing what playing without a bum thumb can do for a guy.

I've seen grittier home runs.

none of this is new of course, we've watched Justin hit moon shots for years now... question is now that he's gone, does he become that perennial MVP candidate? We'll find out, does he take the next step to an elite level or just end up being the top flight OF, who makes a few more AS teams, that he already is
