That is truly sad, and almost surely ends his career.

Too bad. Must be crushing.

Well, the way Cahill pitched did make us regret it. Shame Parker couldn't stay healthy.

White Sox DH Adam LaRoche says he will “step away from baseball,” Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports (Twitter links). He indicated that he would wait a few days before addressing the matter further, out of respect for his teammates’ request that he think it over, but seemingly made clear he is set on retirement.

Wow! My takeaway is LaRoche's statement "we're not big believers in education". So he thinks his son will learn all the valuable lesson he needs in life by only being around a locker room full of rich, entitled athletes? Poor kid.
Now the entire team is torn in two by this.
What a clusterf#*%!

Hellickson was named the Phillies opening day starter. The 66.5 wins Vegas predicts for them sounds about right.

"Hellickson" and "Opening Day Starter" don't belong in the same sentence :lol:Then again, we ran JC55 out there last season...

So of course the guy pitches a gem and so far has the 9th best game score of any starting pitcher to make a start yet.
