Yeah if the Yanks did a Bill Bavasi sort of deal & paid 75% of RJ's contract for us, and we gave them minimal in return (say, Eric Byrnes & a marginal prospect they can overhype), I'd do that ...

Very true, but I think there's a higher ratio of goodness here than say oh, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Milwaukee, etc.
