| Rumor is its $6MM for one year. Way too much for a guy who basically has done nothing in the last two seasons. |

That is too much guaranteed money. Such an insane market this year. It is hard to believe the defending NL CY Young is making 5M and what other lesser players are making.

What does the Cy Young have to do with anything here? I mean, Eric Gagne is a Cy Young winner; therefore, shouldn't he be asking for $10m?

well, you technically get a steal every time you have an amateur player come up through your system and turns into an all star/cy young winner. the dbacks were very smart to lock up webb, agreed
