I don't like it either. Now instead of watching the entire game at home, I'm only gonna be able to catch bits and pieces at work.

Make up your minds. Hell of a way to run a billion dollar industry. I know its TBS first year at this but shit this whole time thing has been a joke. And I like the 7pm start! |

I prefer the night too... fewer hassles w/ schedule.
Speculation: Dbacks may have queried about getting night game since afternoon slot would make it more difficult to sell tix... but major reason would come from marketing department where they discovered that gearing "only" for Eastern time zone that there wasn't all that much interest in the two NL West division teams in that zone... where they could pick up more viewers by gearing the prime time for the left coast.

The word I got is that the TBS sales people got their execs to change it because it's a tougher sell to advertisers. The main audience is in Colorado and Arizona anyway, so they may as well air it in our primetime. How many east coasters are going to get off work early at 4 ET to go watch a NLCS game? By the time they get home from work, our game would have been over. |

That 7 start is good for me, I have tickets to the game and was a little worried about making it because of the game-time. However where do they come up with these start times, 7:18?? What do they draw numbers from a hat???

Yeah. Whoever contributed the hat for Friday must wear a 7 and 1/8ths...

Haha the first round games were at 7:07 as well in Phoenix. I think they also leave out anything that ends in 0, or 5 from the hat.

Gambo says he just got word that under 8,000 tickets remain for games 1 and 2 combined.

They'll sell... It was harder to sell them to "casual" fans without announced start times.

Shortly after that a guy called in and said he just got back from the Chase Field Ticket booth and was told by the person in the booth there were less than 1000 tickets left for game one.
I guess thats a reliable source.

Games 1 and 2 combined was the quote. If the caller's info is correct, then that would mean there are roughly 7,000 remaining for game-2

Just saw that 1 seat was still available to game 2 in
section M row M
which is like 10 or 12 rows behind Moorad's seats.
