Claudia thinks that we have the Dodgers' backs against the wall.

Doggers making a pitching change...
Please Greg: Grace is on the radio side tonight -- spare us the mention of Jonathan Broxton as the "biggest man in the world..." Please!

Broxton in. Did Giovanni Carrara pitch last night? He's still on Blue's roster. |

Report on the radio was that Carrara will be DFA'd and sent to Las Vegas.

Just tuning in. Apparently Miggy had a good night and the dynamic duo against Lowe <Counsel & Byrnes> have been unimpressive. |

Wasn't Vizcaino the a-hole who walked the bases loaded last night? Why is he pitching in the 9th in a tied game <was tied>. |

Can't say I'm surprised. BoMel could have put in Jesus and he was going to blow it. |

Somehow, the Kent home run suggests a paradigm for the rest of the season.
The Doggers lead; we battle to catch them; and then they club us over the head late to take the lead again...
weeping, weeping...

If it makes you feel better remember the Dogs are paying Gagne more this year than we're paying Ortiz. |

Yes, Vizcaino is the guy who walked 'em loaded last night.
He's pitching tonight because those of us here are neither managing nor were consulted...
Does Melvin use any known rationale basis for making decisions? Or just some cobination of gut feeling and rinding whoever has the (apparently) hot hand?

This is going to be a hard loss considering we got to their worn out BP in the 4th inning. |

Will they be enjoying that situation as long as we will be?

With:
T. Clark 1B 1-3
C. Counsell SS 0-2
C. Young CF 1-3
PH
E. Byrnes RF 0-3
due up in our 9th, it's time to take a stand.

Does he get his full salary even though he hasn't pitched an inning this year?

With a little Photoshop expertise, we could eliminate those few threads that she's got left on there.

Gio oughta like a week's vacation in Vegas, and come back with the September callups.

Thanks Bomel for using Clark, Counsel & Byrnes tonight. We really didn't want to win this one anyway.
I mean what the fuck, using 2 guys fresh off the DL, how friggin stupid is this guy. |

Note to Melvin and the FO:
Starting the geezers is not the way to win the ballgames needed to make the playoffs this year, or to develop this team's ability for the future.
Clark and Counsell need to share their proven veteran expertise with the bench, while Quentin, Jackson, Drew, and Young start getting the majority of the playing time.
Any other strategy is just not going to get it done...

EJ you might as well be talking to the wall. Melvin has proved he just can't understand this game. |
