Eh, I could careless, massive props to him for calling it.

I dont know if "props" are deserved - he had inside info (dudes mommy probably works in sassers office) and took 10 minutes to post it.

Robert S. summed up the bigger issue of this signing perfectly. The fans will soon grow tired of Byrnes, I'd bet.

Yea, true story, no joke..

I went up to Gambo during Game 1 of the Spurs-Suns game, Gina walked right passed us, Gambo said.. "She is fucking amazing, the things I'd do to her"

I laughed my ass off, he was obsessed with her.

Wife took a pic of Gina and a couple of the other dancers wrapped around me a couple of years back. Ah memories. Laughing

That one cost me a dinner.

I was thinking it was Robert.

I heard him in the car -- sounded a little nervous.

That led to a discussion between Burns and Gambo about how much of a PR move this was. Gambo insists there's no PR in it at all; Burns is a little more realistic -- some onfield and plenty of PR too.

Here is a question for all the experts. I personally would rather see Quentin stick around over CoJack (I would like to see both stick around but when I shit in one hand and wished in the other, nothing happened)

What about moving Quentin to 1B?

If he is having shoulder in the offseason on his throwing shoulder it will probably need some time to recover, and it seems like he could easily handle the change defensively, and he could provide us with some of the pop we need that it doesn't seem like Conor is going to provide, and he is farther from Free agency.

I really think giving up on Quentin is going to be a big mistake.

Hmm, not a bad idea. It would waste his athletic skillz but chances are we'd be better with Q's bat than Conor's.

Another shoulder on his existing shoulder might hamper his throwing. Wink

Quentin has a higher ceiling, but Jackson has shown more consistency during his major league time. I think Quentin's gone for sure (and will bite us sometime in the future) and either Jackson or Tracy will be gone during the offseason for pitching.
