The question now is:
how big a window do we have to get this one in?
Even if we get a big rally going in the 8th here,
we still have to play a COMPLETE inning for it to count, which means we would have to get the Mets out.
And then we still would have to play the 9th
so one eye on the game, the other on the sky

Been lurking here for about a month and this awful stretch has been bad enough where I can't take it anymore. Here's some fun facts about how awful this game has been for us per Adam Rubin.

-First time in franchise history Mets will hand a 9-0 or better pitcher their first loss
-Mets snap a franchise and NL-record streak of 30 straight home games without exceeding 5 runs.
-Six (now 7) runs in the seventh is the Mets largest output in an inning this season.

Stretches like this make me wish I didn't live and die with the team. I envy the casual fans who passively follow the team sometimes
