Looks like they want Kemp or JUP. Hate to have JUP back in our division. I have a feeling of dread about that does anyone else?

Not really.

J up is a good and valuable player. But i dont think we need to live in fear he will turn i to a perennial mvp candidate.

I just don't want to have to face him 19 times a year. I rather him go to Texas.

I'd love him to play against Arizona, those Braves games were always fun to watch.

Good gamble by the Pads getting Brandon Morrow on just a $2.5M guarantee plus incentives for 2015

Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan reports that there is "significant optimism" a potential trade sending Wil Myers to the Padres will get done and is "very close" to being completed.

Hoping Myers doesn't come to the NL West.

Also, did KT take over the Rays after Friedman and Maddon left? Selling low on a cheap, controllable potential star hitter is exactly the kind of thing KT would do.

via rotoworld According to Jim Bowden of ESPN and SiriusXM, the three-team Wil Myers trade is "done."
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal has the breakdown of who's heading where: Padres shortstop prospect Trea Turner and pitching prospect Joe Ross will go to the Nationals. Myers, Ryan Hanigan, and minor league pitcher Jose Castillo will go to the Padres. Steven Souza, Travis Ott, Rene Rivera, Burch Smith, and Jake Bauers will go to the Rays (with Souza and Ott coming from the Nats). All the players involved need to pass physicals before the trade can be made official.

Gotta assume Myers is their CF, Kemp's body wont let him play CF anymore and Upton's value is dramatically lower if you play him out of position.

What a remake of that team. They will be a force with that pitching now.
