The problem is the Billionaires, not the Millionaires. The owners throughout the league are pocketing all the cash, and the players percentage of revenues has shrunk a good deal.

MLB revenue topped 10 Billion for the first time in 2017, according to Forbes It was just 8.15B after the 2015 season. Thats a 25% jump in 2 years.

Meanwhile, avg MLB player salary increased just 1.6% last year, and based on what we are seeing this year with the FA market, I don't expect that rate of increase to go higher, and it may even decrease.

I know it's hard to have sympathy for players making Millions of dollars, but the owners are being pigs and the smart front offices are taking advantage of the loopholes in the current CBA. The MLBPA hasn't done the players any favors either.

I'm not sure what the right solution, but this trend, if it continues, will definitely result in labor strife in MLB.

Wow, yeah I guess I wasnt looking at the bigger picture. I didnt know the Forbes stuff, thanks for the info Shoe. :P
