They keep battling, but the hole has always been just a little too deep.

Yeah that was a bad call...although Bradley 2 calls his way vs forsythe and barnes, 1 each, so it's not bias.....just incompetence.

Not feeling good about the chances of winning 3 in a row.

Playing some ugly baseball, even in the WC win, pitching staff looks drained, it was a fun ride but this felt like the end. Greinke not making it out of the 4th hurt bad. And he faces an even better offense than the one the Rockies have on Monday.

On another note, seemed like there were A TON of strikes being called for both teams that were out of the zone. More than normal. Either that or the TBS strike zone was inaccurate.

It's a shame that the BBCode embedded in this board's software doesn't allow images to be resized. :(

You can type ":small" right next to the link of the image. For example it'll be [ img ]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DLkM4Q-UIAAwRQw.jpg:small[/img]

Learn something new every day! Thanks.

I'm an admin at another site, and the BBCode options for resizing images are much more versatile; but this is a great leap forward for here. For that matter, there are a lot of BBCode options not available here. To give one example, there's a tag pair [nobbc][/nobbc]; which means that, rather than having to type "[ img ]," you would type [nobbc][img]<link>[/img][/nobbc], and it would appear as, "[img]<link>[/img]"; in other words, as it should actually be typed. Okay, for what we did here, that's not a big deal; but for more complex strings, or for those users who don't grasp that the spaces aren't actually meant to be used, it's nice to have a few more tools in the toolkit.

But that's just me complaining... ;) I can't do anything about the team; but maybe, just maybe, we can do more with the site.

Whenever I post the Diamondbacks and opposing lineups in gameday threads, I leave the Diamondbacks img large and change the opposing team's lineup img to small. This is the Diamondbacks board, you know. ;)

I hate having to scroll when some megagigantic images are posted... :?

Now, if instead of typing, ":small" at the end of an image string to reduce an image to a preset size I could type, "[img width=x]" or, "[img height=y]," images could be resized to accomplish what you have in mind, but not so large as to require scrolling for EVERY POST ON THE PAGE with said image. By the way, "x" and "y" can be addressed via three different scales: by pixels, by a relative size, and I can't remember the third, because I never use it; the first two are simpler to use, especially for a bear of very little brain, like me. ;) But, hey, I'll keep poking around. Like, is there a manual for this site's implementation of BBCode?
