Must be saving it for you. Will the Padres beat the Dbacks at their own game again tonight/
all it took for their win was a three run bomb by Hunter Renfroe

In case anyone thinks the Dbacks can't win with Goldy out of the lineup
need only to note that he did not play on Sept 3-8, during which time the Dbacks were 4-1
including the big sweep in Los Angeles.

Missed a lot of last night trying to go to a movie screening where even though I got there pretty early the line was still too long to get in.

Didn't miss much good with the game though, maybe better tonight?

Goldy looks... I dunno, lost, or tired, or both, in the batter's box. It's painful to watch.

So, two Ks in the inning; and both Rosales and Martinez were swinging at pitches teed up as if they were golf balls. Yes, I know batting is more difficult than it looks to Couch Potato Nation, but really?

Margot
takes a strike 0-1
inside 1-1
single left of second
so Margot answers Pollock with a single
but will he answer Pollock's homer with a run?

Asuaje
low 1-0 and Margot steals second uncontested. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??
slaps a single into left
and this is why we have so much trouble with the Padres
we go for homers, and we got one
but now they are stringing singles and mounting a big rally

Iannetta does the Diamondbacks Shuffle, losing his grip on the ball, and we're off to the races.

What voodoo must we do to break the grip the Padres have on our throats?

curve check swing outside 1-1
foul left on another curve
WELL, IT DIDN"T TAKE LONG, DID IT??
blasts a double off the Qualcomm sign
Margot scores
only a single
First and third
three batters, three hits
