Boone Logan, the lefty will go against Lamb
shift is on again. Lamb lost two hits to the shift last night
has to be able to go to all fields
big down and away missed miserably 0-2
comes right back with it, lands the same place - was a ball 1-2
runs it full 3-2.
slow tapper left side, Logan nearly throws it away but gets the out at first
Goldy to third
Walt plays matchup
exit Logan enter Chad Qualls

Tomas with Goldy on third with 1 out
screaming liner and it's over Charlie's head
DOUBLE!!
7-5
Charlie froze initially and it cost him as it was just out of his reach.
Weeks
surprised me. Charlie should have gone back a couple steps just based on the sound of the ball coming off the bat.
deep center and Charlie has it on the track. Tomas to third
Blackmon hauls it in at the 415.
no wind affecting the proceedings
Herrmann.
long drive right center
CHARLIE CAN'T GET IT!!
triple 7-6
and Charlie uncharacteristically misplayed that
tying run at third, 2 out
Owings
Baltimore chop over the mound
LeMahieu charges it but HE HAS NO CHANCE IN HELL TO GET OWINGS!
TIE GAME!!

I don't know if Qualls had any chance to make that play, but once it was by him Owings had a hit. The only way the Rox could have got him was if the infield was in, and with 2 out they will play back.

He was getting hit hard, but I thought Blackmon should've caught the triple too

Gonzalez Germen replaces Qualls
Ahmed
3-1 and a NICE TAKE by Ahmed as it was very close to the high zone
3-2 now so with Owings taking off, a gapper = a lead
swing and a miss at ball 4 down low
BUT IT IS TIED 7-7 going to last of 8
Now it's Desert Gambler Hold 'Em Time

all humans have a bad day occasionally, and it appears today is Charlie's turn.
Very unusual

Is Clippard trying too hard to live up to the "hype", too?
