Such a great Bullpen. This is a bad team I'm sorry

Would've been a good spot to use Ziegler too
But of course you can only use the closer in the 9th inning even though sometimes you need to save the game in the 7th or 8th…

Great start by Corbin and then the bullpen comes in and shits all over it.

Mallex will run for Flowers as he is the tying run
Barrett now pitching 4-8 this year in inherited runners. Really UN-encouraging
Frenchy up
turnstile swing at a low and away and it's 0-2
way outside in the dirt and Herrmann does a NICE job preventing a wild pitch
fouled off. Up and on the right side but at 96 Frenchy can't put it in play
AND FUCKING BARRETT COMES FAT ON 1-2
Frenchy puts it in the left field corner for a double
tie game
problem there was Herrmann and Barrett couldn't seem to agree on what pitch to throw
Barrett wanted to throw the slider
and turns out Frenchy was looking for it and connected
and now the pathetic hitting Aybar gets a walk
Frenchy rides on second as the potential winning run

D'Arnaud up, first and second 1 out
oh, and on Frenchy's double, the throw in missed the cutoff man
2-1 and it looks like Barrett is over throwing missing low to the outside
hanger ripped just foul left side
WOW - Dbacks trying HARD to give this one away!!
Barrett strikes him out on the killer slider
that's what he was trying to throw to Frenchy, but hung it and Frenchy tied the game
flies to Peralta in right
tied at 3 after 8

And who would have though that at this point of the season Hermann would have a higher batting average and slugging percentage than Goldschmidt?

Hunter Cervenka has not allowed a run in his first 14 innings in MLB. Braves club record.
they found him in independent ball.
Vizcaino now pitching
two called strikes, low outside corner
next one low bridges him 1-2
Drury 1-3 today and strikes out swinging 1 out
Herrmann. Hit one off the foul pole earlier. takes a 99 on the black to go 1-2
and the next one is 6 feet outside beyond the catcher's reach
Pierzynski now catching
check swing strike 3
0-2 to 3-2 on Owings. What's he gonna get here?
slow bouncer left side
Vizcaino can't get to it at which point Owings has an infield hit because the other four infielders have no play
Gosselin pinch hits. high hopper to second, Owings forced in a photo finish.
might want to challenge this, but they won't because they know there isn't OBVIOUSLY clear evidence to overturn it. I mean, these days unless it's so obvious a blind man could see it, the call won't be overturned.
Braves with a chance to win in the 9th
blew the lead
now wondering if they'll blow the game as well

Zac Curtis will pitch the 9th
should strike out the washed-up Pierzynski.
hits into the shift where Segura is waiting and gets his fat ass coming down
1 out
got the out anyway
Markakis: no shift, Playing straightaway.
Bravescasters compare Curtis to Billy Wagner
everything to the outside. See if Curtis busts him inside. but don't want to risk a hanger
fouled off pitch #7, all of these on the outside.
finally comes inside and misses to go 3-2
pitch 9 fouled off again. keep fouling em off, increase the chance of a kid making a mistake
and finally Markakis gets a hit. Kept coming outside and finally Nick figured out a way to get a hit, of course, the pitch was up high which helped his cause.

Ziegler, Hudson, and Clippard apparently have the day off
that really helps, huh?
EI standing 1-2 after missing a sweeping breaker by five feet
tries it again ,throws it in the dirt, Herrmann saves a wild pitch
EI strikes out
but now here comes Freddy.
and here comes Butcher
warning him that Freddy likes to go after the first pitch so don't groove it
foul right side and Freddy indeed DID go after the first one
that's it. Keep throwing hard and hope for a strike 2-1
ball three, swing and a miss 2-2
inside, hits the zone, couldn't get a call
another "Happy Mother's Day" from Rob Drake
in the dirt, and Freeman walks moving the winning run to second
and Kelly Johnson comes up as a pinch hitter
goes 2-0. Frenchy is next.
Bravescasters say they have a lot of meetings.
Good thing there's no limit to those
ball 3. outside. pressure getting to the kid, it appears
takes strike 1 all the way. good take, high and not really hittable
high and away ball 4
and now Frenchy, after tying it, has the spotlight with a chance to win it
all of these batters have been left handed
and we have the bases loaded
and here comes Hale
and he will give Delgado a chance to blow the game

calling my bookie right now
hope to reach him quickly so I can put my money down
the way this thing has been turning to shit the last two innings
it logically follows that the Braves win it right here
* * * * *'probably on a wild pitch

Frenchy has received two walks in two ABs against Delgado
and the odds just went up
strike 1 big breaker
it's a miracle
grounds out to Ahmed
which means we get to play some more
3-3 after 9

Grilli
Dbacks 1-2 in OT this year
Ahmed leads off
fouls one into the TV booth right at Brenly apparently
big swing, big miss on the high heat.
going to be interesting to see if teams continue to bring high heat to Ahmed
and called strike 3
that was not a good looking AB
strike 3 called on a pitch that clearly missed the zone on the outside
another flip off from Rob Drake
Lamb is next: 0-2
high waste pitch 1-2, outside foul left, outside and hittable, big swing, foul back, high on the zone, fouled back. Gotta be swinging at anything close because you're not going to get a call.
right down main street, and fouled off. big swing, big foul.
check swing, too high for Drake to call it a strike 2-2
high ball 3. another foul left protecting outside
. this is a good AB.
swing and a miss.
strange. same place as many of the other pitches which he fouled off, but missed the last one badly.
Braves have another chance to win

I think somewhere in the stats jungle, is a list of players and how many foul balls they hit. Wonder if that points to anything.
