    HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qDZC93Edyk
I missed the first three innings but there is no score
    so I haven't missed anything.
Glavine talking about accepting wildness because a guy throws hard. He says a pitcher can throw hard but that won't cut it in the show.
talking about Koufax and Randy Johnson when they first came up. Horrible, but eventually they got it under control and became hall of famers

and Goldy gets the strikeout again
this is happening WAY too often
I thought Magadan was a good hitting coach.
Folty mixing heat and breakers and we apparently aren't touching it
      * * * * *
Glavine continued his comments about heat and no control. "Falling in love with the radar gun" he calls it. A pitcher can get away with it at lower levels but anyone can hit the heat in the show. Folty today is bringing the heat but it's the mix with the breaking stuff that is keeping the hitters off balance.

And Frenchy rips a hanger up the middle for a single
tons of PINK out there today
Aybar strikes out swinging on a breaker
D'Arnaud hits a bouncer to second base, Ahmed picks it up steps on the bag throws to first for an inning ending double play. scoreless after 4
        * * * * *
Drury, slider outside corner, followed by 95 MPH and it's 0-2.
I really like this pink and gray uni combo Looks like the Vassar baseball team, if they have one.
single up the middle. Drury maybe the best looking hitter on this team right now.
Owings grounds into what should have been a DP, but Aybar had trouble finding the handle so they only get Drury coming down.
pitch out? You wouldn't send the runner with 2 outs and the pitcher up, would you?
and the failure to make the DP, enables Corbin to hit a fat puppy to the wall in right center and give himself a 1-0 lead.
Ahmed blown away with high heat to take us to the half way mark. It's hard enough to hit something coming 95 MPH,but when you take a mighty rip and try to hit it to south county, it makes it all the more difficult.

Can't believe all these females not wearing hats in the sun today. I recall watching a Sunday afternoon game in Atlanta and the sun was vicious.
Castro leads off with a single to center.
Folty bunts the first one foul, right side. appears to be trying the right side because Goldy is not coming that far in. Folty gets the sac on the right side with a nice bunt.
Markakis, a lefty, in the leadoff spot against the lefty Corbin. And Lamb isn't allowed to play against lefties. second pitch is clearly in the zone up high and Corbin can't get a call.
Markakis with a tapper up the middle to move Castro to third
all this talk about Trout being traded for prospects - ain't gonna happen, baby
and here is EI, ANOTHER lefty. 1-2 in the order lefty lefty. wow.
single, sac, ground out, strike out. Dbacks still lead 1-0 after 5

Called strike 3 by Rob Drake on the inside wasn't even close
sun must be getting to him. And Goldy gets the SHAFT!
              ends our 6th 1-0 lead

Everything from Corbin to Freeman is down low and/or outside and Freddie strikes out going fishing and looked bad doing it.
and Flowers got hit. tried to jackknife and the big blouse he calls the uniform catches the ball.
And Frenchy, on a 1-2 pitch, throws his bat at the ball, misses it, and the timber goes flying by Corbin. everything down low to Frenchy also. Corbin runs it to 3-2.
swings at ball 4 and flies deep right and Drury makes a nice running catch to beat Frenchy and the wind.
quick 0-2 on useless (Aybar). and lines right to Lamb in his tracks. 1-0 Dbacks after 6

Folty has issued no walks today. just that DP that wasn't, is the difference in this game
High fly right center and EI makes a nice running catch, robbing Weeks for the second time today.
Drury becomes K #8 with a bouquet of breaking stuff.
and HERRMANN rings it off the right field foul pole!
                  CHRIS HERRMANN!!

Theres been a lot of times where Segura almost slammed into one of his teammates trying to make a play

Corbin 85 pitches going into the 7th
D'Arnaud flies out to Weeks in left
high pop short center, Segura out, Owings in, VERY NEAR COLLISION and miraculously Owings holds onto the ball while avoiding Segura. Don't know if Owings called for it but didn't look like he did.
Tuiasosopo bats for Folty. 3-1. Did anyone tell Corbin this bum can't hit?
easy ground to short. "Corbin continues to dazzle" says Caray. Not hard against this pile of rejects and retreads.
                      2-0 AZ after 7

Will the Diamondbacks be fined by MLB if this game is under 3 hours long. I thought it was mandatory that all DBack games were at least 3 and a half hours long. ;)

                            Ogando pitching the 8th
Ogando knocks out Ahmed in 3. blow-by. big swings, big fan.
Segura - doubles just right of center
continued to foul off pitches and finally got something useful - good hitters do this
113 extra base hits out of 300 for AZ this year
                            Braves only have 48
and Segura tries to catch Ogando asleep and go to third but is out
but Flowers called time so no play
ANOTHER STUPID HIGH SCHOOL BASERUNNING PLAY
dunker into left for a single, Segura scores 3-0 AZ
                            thanks to Flowers calling time
Goldy 1-9 in the series tries again
Chip says it's a shame they only see Goldy twice a year, once in Atlanta
                            shut up, Chip
you see better baseball in the NL east than the NL west
                            called strike 3 AGAIN
all three strikeouts today CALLED LOOKING
Braves have 4 runs TOTAL in their last 4 games
                            Weeks flies to Markakis
3-0 AZ going to last of 8

I don't know what MLB's policy on that might be
but I would fine them every time they do a stupid, unprofessional baserunning play.

followed by a hanger to EI ripped into left for a single, and Markakis to third
first and third no one out
and here comes Butcher: "Hey, Chaf, I know this is a lousy team but try to do the best you can anyway"
Freeman: high heat with the blow by to go 0-2
and then blows him away at 95. So 92-94-95 and c'ya Freddie. 1 out
first one on his hands, second one at the letters, third one on the outside corner. Nice!
3-0 on Flowers, two of which showed as hitting the low side of the zone
smash single to center, Markakis scores and Ahmed's fielding muff gives the BRaves a run
                                    3-1
                                    and Chafin is knocked out

Honestly, besides the last couple innings of game 1 this series hasn't felt easy

Even though the Braves suck it has felt like they were still in all of these games for a while
