leadoff walk to Stanton. You gotta try to get him out.
left one up and Ozuna sent Owings to the wall in dead center. Stanton went to second.
except to Stanton, Ray is not getting behind on hitters
Ray goes to 3-2 on Johnson, missing twice on the outside
struck him out way down low and it could have been any number of different pitches
89 MPH so he took a little bit off of it, but clearly Johnson is no match for Ray
and he gives Dietrich an 88 MPH meatball, single to center, 1-0 Fish
GOTTA BE TOUGHER THAN THAT ON 0-2
cement mixer
Wilson talking about seeing the red dot on the ball, and the replay clearly showed it,
and hitters salivate when they see that
Ray goes 3-1 on Hech and is coming too high again. Maybe DIetrich shook him up
gets Hech
1-0 Fish after two.
Hate it when they get the first lead
especially when it's a walk that comes around to score
so even if Stanton had homered, they still lead 1-0
Gotta try to get Stanton out

Owings makes cross country trip through the outfield to retire Mar-teen
hit the ball high enough and you have half the night to get there
hitting line drives is the good stuff

Pres saying that Conley said his no hitter in Milwaukee was ruined because the Brewers ran up the pitch count with foul balls.
Why does Goldy 2-0 and then take a fat cripple for strike 1?
another can of corn. Swing under a high one and it has nowhere to go but up
Castillo gets the FIRST HIT, a screaming liner to left. Conley refused to walk him so he gave him something hittable, which makes sense with the bases clear and 2 out
but NOW Conley is starting to get behind. Is this a 4th-inning-focus-loss?
Peralta walks
seems in the early innings, pitchers lose focus for an inning. Not sure why
frequently in the fourth
Tomas had a good pitch to hit, and went for the first one, and fouled it
then struck out on a foul tip held on a high tight hard one, after swinging and missing for strike two on a sucker slider almost in the dirt.
best pitch to hit? first pitch
get a hit? no, fouled it
result? two runners stranded and Fish still lead 1-0

Bert and Bob were making fun of how bad Chris Johnson looked in bating practice today
Then he drives one off the RF wall

On his third pitch to Yelich, Ray got screwed. Hit the inside corner and called a ball.
Ray keeps throwing fast balls and Yelich keeps fouling them off
and Yelich does NOT get suckered on ball 3 down low
but Ray struck him out on high inside heat
gets Stanton his time but gave him something quite hittable on 0-2 so Ray LUCKED OUT
high fast ball to Dietrich and Ray gets screwed again as it hit the zone but was called a ball
then came fat to Johnson, who he should have struck out, and it's 2-0 Fish

Typical losers
Making fun of other teams when yours is playing like shit
I don't know if Johnson got lucky or what
but it appears to me Ray is relying on his fast ball too much.

go up there, swing hard, and hope they hit something.
The way this has been going, Freddie Freeman can probably beat us single handedly. Enjoy the weekend, boys

After Ray labors, the Dbacks go down quickly in the next inning

man, i just really need to rant
your pitcher just had a 29 pitch inning and he has to bat this inning.
If you are the leadoff hitter this inning, TAKE A F………ING PITCH OR THREE!!!!!
Give the guy a breather.
Instead the first two guys see 3 pitches total.
Ray is gassed now, he’s gonna get crushed this inning.
Brain dead hacking, no game awareness………I’m actually quite angry right now.

The views they showed on FSAZ made it look like he was safe to me.

Conley at 80 pitches going into the 6th
Segura lead off single
what will come of this?
Nieves out. Conley running out of gas here?
Pitchers throw too hard and are not given a chance to throw 120-130 pitches in a game like the old days. No wonder they tire early
nasty change and Drury misses it to go 2-2. grounds into a force 1 out
after Drury lost one pitch in the third deck deep foul then came back with the change
Donnie will take out Conley at 88 pitches
not even at 100
will the day come when pitchers will do well to last for five innings and get wins?
