      Beef.
      swing and a miss 0-1
looks at strike 2 on a hittable fast ball. Now stands 0-2
in the dirt, down low with 2 strikes again 1-2
      breaker, too
lets see if he tries low heat
high heat, swing and a miss
      sweep complete

How about it, TLR? Resident baseball "genius"

Thanks for the choke gif, TAP
On to Miami to watch the home run feature hopefully rendered hopelessly useless.

I can still laugh at the many dumb things Bert says?

You can actually laugh at his shtick? He's nothing but the ringmaster in PT Hall's circus.

Like many others here, I hated it from the moment it was announced.

Any ONE of those three STRAIGHT UP for Miller would have frustrated me but accepted sadly.
          All THREE was grand larceny.
Apparently, despite the addition of TLR, AZ has no clue how to value players.
At least they don't resort to the soon-to-be-obsolete fad of "analytics"

"we'll get back to our winning ways" said Hall at least TWO years ago
I am reminded of a shot I saw of Hall last year before a game
looking at the stands and probably thinking of all the good food at the
ball park and all the charity work being done and wondering why
            people weren't filling the stands.
            * * * * *
What is really bizarre here is that the WHOLE DIVISION is 26-42 at home
for a pathetic .382 PCT. So much for "home sweet home".

Is it safe to say the Miller Trade was a bust yet? Considering the Braves have gotten more out of Blair alone than we have with Miller.

It was a bust the second they announced it.

I thought Miller was a good pitcher, but nowhere near being worth what they gave up for him

More laughing at how bad it is than him being funny (which most of the time he isn't)

More like when the starting considering it. The only thing that could be as bad would be 200M for a declining pitcher who doesn't replicate his peak years, as is the case for most such contracts.
