I hate it when they change pitchers for every hitter
I'd love to see Peralta bring in the salami wagon
Instead he gets caught looking. Something he does way to much of imho.

ball 1. Yeah, you're good, Logan. for something, not sure what
ball 2. Keep it up, Boone baby. You're in Colorado because you can't pitch anywhere else
called strike. Right, Jordan Baker, we know you hate us (it was inside)
foul back. 2-2
Baker was calling every check swing a strike on us last night
called strike 3. not protecting low again.
Can't figure this out. Seems to be a trend nowadays that pitchers will come with that low heat with 2 strikes and guys just stand there looking at it, and then bitch when Baker, or some other buckethead, calls strike 3

Estevez vs. Tomas
2-3 today 2 singles
for the third time today, Tomas fouls off the first pitch for strike 1
think it's great he swings at the first pitch (Makes the game go faster)
but we need to get some hits
1-1
cloud cover, no sun. Gives YT a chance without having to fight shadows and Baker too
high 2-1.
foul back, trying to hit it out of the county. 2-2
single ties this game, why try to hit it to Friday's?
Son of a b----. Estevez strikes him out
NOW THAT'S FRUSTRATING!!!!!
Fans in the stands must be ready to tear their hair out
oh wait, they're busy eating corn dogs and texting on the celly

Don't care what any of you say, we are the shittest team in MLB when it comes to having the bases loaded. I would have bet my families life on us not scoring there with no fear at all.

Seems to me they just swing as hard as they can, to see how far they can hit it, and if it's a single it's an accident.
Tomas is a better hitter than that. If he wants to be a hero, he should concentrate on tying the game and hitting the walkoff next time up

Why? Bert says it should have been a three hit day for Herrmann.
How can he expect to get a hit if he hits it right to Story?
Bert, I don't buy it that guys get worn out by playing every day
And no, don't expect to get on if you hit it to Arenado
yep, that's it. Hit it to Arenado again. 1-2-3
if this score holds, this will be the first Rockies sweep at Chase since 2004, and we all remember how much fun that year wasn't

BB saying Story hasn't been making good contact today
Story probably made good contact with some cool Phoenix night spots last night
0-5 day for Hot Rook. nice when the rest of the team can pick you up
and, of course, with the Rocks in town, Bert has to put in a plug for Dinger
OK here we go....
Home Team

That was the year they traded half the team to Milwaukee for Richie Sex Son and he only lasted three weeks before going down with a season ending injury.
Part of the Dbacks trading tradition

For the season coming into this game, with the bases loaded AZ has a hitting line of .235/.211/.353 with just 3 singles and 1 triple. With the bases empty, AZ has a hitting line of .283/.336/.495. 132 OPS+ with the bases empty, 55 OPS+ with the bases loaded.

I can't believe so many of you actually listen to Bert and Bren. I mute the tv. I can see what's going on and all their jibber-jabber only subtracts from any (?) enjoyment of the game. Often I'll channel surf over to the Dodgers game to hear the stratavari voice Vin Scully.

Say, uh, guys, shall we hit to someone OTHER than Arenado???????
Geez!!
Weeks gets robbed - 1 out
check swing and of course, Baker will call it a strike 0-2
so Gosselin sends a can of corn out to Blackmon and the quiet recessional is in progress
two out single for Drury.
Goldy 0-3 and struck out twice and walked.
big hairy breaker makes it 2-2
big hairy breaker stays high 3-2
high and away ball 4
talk about a chicken act. walk Goldy and bring up the tying run

Whenever I watch them live over the past 4 years or so and we have them loaded, They must be hitting next to zero.

I can still laugh at the many dumb things Bert says?
