Happy B-day Joe!
Little upset that Lamb isn't in the lineup with the way he is hitting lately. However, with Bumgarner on the mound, I can understand.

Of course he's not, we are facing a tough lefty.

IPK gave up the first run just now against the Tigers. Runner on 2B, Zimmermann has not looked sharp.
Royals booth mentioning that IPK and JU10 were team mates in Arizona during this encounter. JU10 chops at a 3-1 pitch and a great leaping catch by Escobar saves it. He tips his hat coming off the field.

Alex Gordon just dropped a single right in front of JU10 He charged hard, but stopped once realizing he couldn't make the catch. AZCentral/snakepit would have a field day with that play.

Made it back in time from dinner to see the entire game!
Chip obviously hates me because he is depriving me of birthday Lamb.

Fun fact
Even though my birthday is today, I was SUPPOSED to be born in late June.
9 weeks.

I was 2 weeks late, I was supposed to be born on Sept 3rd, but was born Sept 15. They were going to induce on Monday (the 16th), but I came out on Sunday. lol
I have a friend that had her son at 7 months (almost 2 full months preterm). He had to spend the first month in NICU, but he is a healthy normal kid now.

Greinke has looked decent, but Bumgarner is really good tonight.

Top of the 6th, GOldy goes down swinging with runners on 1st and 3rd and 2 outs
By far the best chance we've had so far

Nick Piecoro @nickpiecoro
Dbacks lineup vs. Giants (RHP Cueto): Segura, Lamb, Goldschmidt, Peralta, Tomas, Gosselin, Owings, Herrmann, Miller.

Is Miller a known head case? I don't remember hearing anything like that, but I'm starting to wonder. He couldn't find the strike zone in ST and it has continued into the season. Last week he scrapes his hand on the ground and has to leave the game? For a scrape? Now today he can't throw strikes again. I'd have very little patience with him if I were Hale.
