Greinke sure is pitching well. Even the hits that he gave up for the runs weren't hit that hard. Hopefully we can get him his first win.

The misadventures of Tomas continue tonight in LF. No range whatsoever, and not too smooth when he DOES get to the ball.

Tomas with an incredibly graceful attempt to cut off that double into the gap by Myers....

Lamb steals a base then reaches 3rd on a throwing error by the catcher in the top of the 9th
Thanks Padres!
Then Lamb scores on an infield dribbler by Gosselin

And now the Padres open up the bottom of the 9th with 1st and 3rd nobody out against Ziegler....
Dbacks up 3-2

Amarista Ks, Ramirez steals 2nd base.
Dbacks intentionally walk Brett Wallace to load the bases and face John Jay
Jay grounds into a double play to end it, Dbacks win

Finally an enjoyable experience watching Greinke pitch. I would've liked to have seen Chip leave Greinke in to face Kemp, but it worked out anyway. I was trying to make a case about Greinke not liking to pitch at Chase Field, but his numbers pitching there for the past 2 years are really good. I'm hoping that he has worked out the kinks and dominates SF on his next start.

Alexi Ramirez singles and Melvin Upton scores, then Ramirez reaches 3rd on an error by Brito.....
1-0 Padres

Bases loaded 2 outs for the Padres after walking the pitcher, trainers looking at Miller.
He is shaking his hand, I guess it is a blister and he is going to stay in.
EDIT: Nope scraped his hand on the ground on the follow through
Walked in a run, 2-0 Padres
50 pitches through 1.2 innings
Buschmann is coming in
Struck out Myers to end the inning

So, if I want to do PxP of any game, should I just do it here? I think it might be confusing if we have a series thread, and then a random "I feel like doing PxP today" thread.

It would probably be select games and/or if I am able. For instance, Greinke vs Kershaw/MadBum or something like that.

In here could work, I try to keep whenever I am going over what happens during an inning in a single post so it is all in one spot.

Ok. I thought a "marquee" pitching matchup or something would be cool to do and would probably have more interest than #4 vs #5-ona100lossteam.
