Kevin Towers in the game TV booth now. When asked about a decision on Goldschmidt coming up to the D-backs, he responded that they were going to get together after today's game and make a decision, but "I think pretty much everybody knows what we're going to do."

The D-backs have yet to make first baseman Goldschmidt’s purchase official, but the evidence is overwhelming. Goldschmidt was held out of the starting lineup at Class AA Mobile on Sunday, and the D-backs have only one first baseman on the roster as they head for San Francisco and a three-game series that begins Monday.
