I have never understood why he is famous. I have never heard anything he is funny in. (If you counter with the ren and stimpy show or beavis and butthead... you need to take a long look at yourself). Is he funny for having an annoying voice? Then I can nominate one of my friends.
Gilbert Godfried is a very good stand up and his pod casts are hilarious.

I have to admit I have never really listened to his standup. Any time he has come on comedy central or anything I just change the channel due to his voice. Maybe this is a case of don't judge a book by it's cover.

I just watched the bottom of the 9th inning game against the Dodgers in 2011 when the Diamondbacks scored runs after the first 2 batters made outs. Sutton calling out Milwaukee fans while Roberts ran around the bases after his game-winning grand slam. I then watched some of game 3 and game 4 playoff games against the Brewers. Can't believe they intentionally walked Montero to pitch to Goldy with the bases loaded. Watching how loud the ballpark was for these two playoff games, I am really looking forward to this year and watching some playoff games with the Diamondbacks playing in them.

I was watching the Mets broadcast tonight and they spent a minute goofing on the new Dbacks uniforms. Then when I tweeted about it, a follower mentioned that the Angels vs. A's game (he didn't say which feed) was doing the same.
We are truly the laughingstock of MLB. Does ownership know -- or care?
I suppose the only way for the "Evolution" to end is for the Dbacks to finish dead last in merchandising sales. Or for KK to sell the team and a more sensible owner to come in and run this organization smarter from top to bottom.

yeah, I happened to have the A's game on and they weren't all that kind about the uniforms, asking "what's going on in Phoenix?"
Kinda reminds me of those old gaudy marlins uniforms form the early 2000s.

The gray uniforms were horrible in the sunlight. There just isn't enough contrast to read the numbers and names on TV.
And the entire set looks like someone with ADD designed them - every detail is over-worked, every current trend is thrown in.
It just makes for one of the worst uniform sets in sports (move over Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

I saw a lot of people saying that it just looked like a grey blob in the sunlight. I couldn't see the numbers or the names most of the time they were using the camera behind the pitching mound while the Dbacks were at the plate

I would bet that some -- if not MANY -- players on the team said, "Are you f***ing kidding me?" when they first saw them and/or tried them on.
