Good catch and I agree. I dont understand why these guys cant get in better shape. It makes no sense to me.

The unis are growing on me but the hats are flat out stupid.

That's because he probably got a memo saying to love to costumes, i mean uniforms, or shut the hell up.

Just imagine how unwatchable this season will be. New uniforms + Greinke = Berthiaume not shutting the hell up all season long.

Hard to do the same with the uniforms though.

Definitely... can't even consider the high crown anymore.

My only complaint is I wish the low crown would downsize the bill proportionally as well. Smallest adjustment would make a world of difference. Takes a lot of extra time to get the curve down right since visually its a little oversized.

New Era makes a ladies version of caps with umpire sized brims. I don't understand the high crown hate though, they've been present in MLB for decades, it's been one of New Era's trademarks for a long time.

I dont think anyone is looking for that type of extreme downsizing...

Put a high crown and low crown next to each other... I believe they have the same size bill, which makes the bill look out of proportion on the low crown. Low crown bill needs a slight size tweak, probably less than 1/4" size adjustment smaller would put it back in proportion.

I just prefer the low crown now so I dont have to spend all the extra time getting the high crown "deflated" and form fitting like it should be. Do it wrong and you get the ridges up on the crown.

All of this only really matters if you wear hats the good, old fashioned way with a full curve... I like the ends of the bill to come over my temples. If you wear any sort of flat to semi flat bill, it probably doesnt matter much that the bill is oversized on the low crown.

That's because it's literally -- LITERALLY -- exactly the same hat as before, except the "sand" logo outline trim has been replaced by teal. I'm not paying $35 for that. I'll stick with my existing black 'A' cap.

I still can't believe how badly the Dbacks botched this uniform redesign.

It's also the only cap of the new set that will be USA made. The two fade caps are Chinese only, so that means poor quality polyester and funky shapes. Very lame design too, I can't believe they put the fade on the pants, totally looks like pajamas.
