Kinda like Wright with the Mets.

I dont think he has been there long enough and he has been injured a bunch it seems.

I would have gone with Doc Gooden.

Also the 4 greatest living I would have had to have Bob Gibson in the mix instead of Bench but no way they leave him out with the game in Cincy.

Lists like these always produce great debate.

Filling Out All-Time Rosters for Each MLB Franchise
(its a slideshow, a bit clickbaity with the statefarm and etrade ads... but it is from pointafter)

And, the one that we are interested in:

Arizona Diamondbacks

Total WAR: 249.2
I put the WARs in bold for the purposes of this post.

C: Miguel Montero (2006-2014; 12.5)
1B: Paul Goldschmidt (2011-present; 24.1)
2B: Craig Counsell (2000-2003, 2005-2006; 12.6)
3B: Matt Williams (1998-2003; 8.2)
SS: Stephen Drew (2006-2012; 13.0)
OF: Luis Gonzalez (1999-2006; 30.0)
OF: Steve Finley (1999-2004; 18.0)
OF: A.J. Pollock (2012-present; 14.8)

SP: Randy Johnson (1999-2004, 2007-2008; 48.4)
SP: Brandon Webb (2003-2009; 33.3)
SP: Curt Schilling (2000-2003; 26.0)
RP: Byung-Hyun Kim (1999-2003, 2007; 8.4)

At first I was a bit, "huh?" with CC4, but the more I thought about it, the more it makes sense. That said, he was our starting SS and played some 3B as well, so I wonder if they are including those numbers? I was also wondering about MW9, but MR27 only put up a 5.5 in his 4 seasons for the Dbacks... and he is really the only other player that can be competition, unless you call CC4 a 3B and maybe ODog at 2B or something.

Everything else is a. "Duh." Hopefully, Jake Lamb can overtake MW9...
