I love that script, I wish we'd have that on all of our jerseys instead of the "D-Backs" logo. We should ditch the "D-Backs" logo and use the "A" more often on the breast.

I've never been the biggest fan of the script the Club uses on the unis. Looks like it was designed to appeal to 7-10 yr olds. I'd much rather the script be classic cursive or the original font they used.

Dhall, ditch the crappy "D" home cap and replace it with this or a Sedona Red "A" cap. I'll buy more merchandise if you do.
I love this cap! I like how it will be a 59Fifty like the On-Field caps, but it sucks that we're forced to wear the crappy "D" logo everywhere. If you're interested, HatClub actually has a version of this cap in 100% Wool, plus it's made in USA too! I own one, and it's awesome!

I was looking for one at the mall hat store over the holidays. They did not have it. i showed them your pic and they seemed flummoxed. I forget the name of the store but it was in Tucson mall and all they sell is hats. they had tons of Dbacks hats but not this one. I want one but I dont want to order on line. I want to check the fit.

I spoke with my friend who designs the caps for HatClub, and he says that a new order should be in by April.

April? Bummer that's a long time. Oh well, I bookmarked the page. Thanks for checking Andy!

A little birdy told me that. The BP uniforms will be used as alternates too. Astros will wear theirs all Friday home games.

Both, they'll be weened into On-Field use this season, but it's a team option but they're approved for On-Field use.
It's up in the air on whether the uniform material will be up for permanent usage and it would probably be a player preference like the use of Low Profile or Brooklyn Style caps. I have a hard time seeing that a huge uniform change is impending though, hard to see the Yankees giving up their pinstripes for a BP style jersey. I would assume that BP will be used in day games within a few seasons.

I completely forgot about these because they're incredibly dumb, but you know how in post-game interviews with players they generally wear whatever they want? Well now players have to wear specific "post-game interview" caps.
These will be 39Thirty style stretch fit, only the Mets have been leaked so far. Once the dbacks hats surface I'll post those, but I can only imagine they'd look relatively similar.

LOL next there will be the official on-deck helmets that they have to switch out with the game helmets when they actually come to bat.
Anything for an extra merchandising opportunity, eh MLB?

Pretty sad that MLB has to resort to making so many BS caps hoping fans buy them. I constantly fall for their ploy, so I can't be too angry, but I only wear fitteds and these things look ass ugly.
The reason these are supposed to exist are to give the fans a cheaper alternative as a cap since the new BPs will be the 59Fifty and will be the $34.99 price.

I bought my new 59/50 on field hat today. The season may now begin.
As a side note I am the anti Barry Bonds. I have lost enough weight that my hat size has gone fro 7 1/4 to a 7. The 7 is a little tight but I like to bend the brim which gives me a little more room.

Great find, Gary. I personally think the fanged snake with baseball from the patch should be our logo in place of the "D".
