Jim, you're the first person I've ever known to not like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
Although, the first episode of the new season was kind of... well, shit. Hopefully it gets better.
I agree- I love this show, but the first episode seemed like they were in rush to write it and this was all they could come up with. I hope it gets back to their usual outrageousness.
Similar thing happened to the Flight of the Conchords; Bret and Jemaine had been doing comedy for awhile and were "discovered". They had to suddenly begin to film each week while still writing new episodes and songs and tour during hiatus from filming. It became too much of a demand and they couldn't do it all and still come up with funny material, so they decided to walk away with their sanity. I really miss that show...

The actress who plays Sweet Dee was pregnant all through filming, so the entire season may be a little different.

Too bad they already did an abortion episode (and it was one of their best episodes ever)

I am gonna try to catch this tomorrow night. Its a good story.
TV alert! “Into the Wind,” a documentary about Terry Fox, premieres tomorrow at 8pm eastern on ESPN. Fox is the Canadian man who lost his leg to bone cancer in 1977 and decided to run across Canada (a marathon a day) to raise money for cancer research. The film is co-produced by NBA point guard and fellow Canadian Steve Nash.

I read that they were going to incorporate it into the season with a "Who knocked up sweet dee?" plotline, which I am sure will be horribly offensive...and hilarious.

Quote:
Charlie Day — who writes and co-stars in the show (as maniacal fan favorite Charlie Kelly) alongside Rob McElhenney (karate aficionado Mac) and Glenn Howerton (ladies' man Dennis) — says “the best way to work around is to write to it. So, outside a few loose shirts in the beginning of filming, we’ve written to it, and it was one of the motivating factors of why we’re stringing a few episodes together.” (The show’s plotlines are, for the most part, wrapped up, in some creatively destructive fashion, usually both physically and emotionally, by the end of each episode.) “The character will be pregnant.” But … how the hell is that going to work? “The only detail I can give you is that we’ll have a really fun episode trying to figure out, ‘who done it?’”

Does anyone watch Archer on FX? They're re-playing the first season lately and I must have missed a lot of the jokes the first time around. That show is hilarious.
My TV just blew out this morning. I need to get a new one quick before my TiVo fills up.

The scene with Oh Danny Boy in Spanish was hilarious.

Anyone watching this season's Dexter? Things look like they are spiraling out of control.

Last night's South Park drilled into BP and the oil spill. There was also a quick Brett FaRve joke, which is always good. Here's a clip. You can watch the whole episode on the same page.

Love the show. I think they should have let Trinity live at the end of last season. They need to stop tying bows on the show at the end of every season. And they need to kill La Guerta. She is awful. Can Doakes come back?

I'll be watching that this weekend. I loved last week's episode. Randy Mash as a butterfly looking for butterfly poon was great.

I posted this for the Jimmy Carter interview. I still remember in 1st or 2nd grade having a mock election Carter vs. Reagan, I voted for Carter because I knew he was the president and I didn't know who Reagan was.
Jimmy is someone I admire. Especially his post presidency actions.
here is a speech from 1979

Anyone watch Walking Dead? It was fantastic. I believe six episodes this year and 13 next year.

Yesterdays It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, which had guest spots by Chase Utley and Ryan Howard, was freaking hilarious, especially if you saw the episode about the Phillies winning the World Series.
