Wow. Don't have sufficient words. This man brought so much laughter and happiness to the world, yet he couldn't find it for himself.
Saw him in a little comedy club before Mork & Mindy. Never ever witnessed such a quick wit and comedic genius. RIP Robin.

The thing about Robin Williams that always impacted me was his dramatic acting. I mean of course he was hysterically funny too, but it was his humane nature that always touched me deeply in many of his roles.

I am shocked by the profound sadness that his death has hit me with. I hate to quote Miley Cyrus, but I saw a tweet she sent out, and basically it said "I don't ever cry for people I don't know". Ditto.

But I am now.

OT: Shoe, please tell me you don't follow Miley on Twitter...

RW was a very talented man, such a funny, rapid-fire mind. A next-generation Jonathan Winters, who was an idol of Williams'. Sorry to hear he was so troubled and that his life ended tragically.

Nah, of course not. I don't even use twitter. Too much hassle, blocked here in China. Was just reading an article and there were a couple dozen tweets posted below the article. Nothing wrong with Miley though.

He was already funny when I was young and figuring out what funny was, but he was also - easily - the greatest actor of all the comedians.
