I went to Paranormal Activity 2. Scariest thing I have seen in a longgggggggg time. I came close to leaving the theater crying because it was to scary. I did make it to the end but damn it was scary.

I saw Due Date with Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. I'm not sure what I expected, but it was Planes, Trains and Automobiles 2. Definitely edgier than a John Hughes movie, but it's basically the same story, which was disappointing. Not one of Todd Phillips' best (Old School, The Hangover), but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I'm looking forward to seeing 127 Hours, which retells the story of the Utah hiker who got stuck and ended up cutting off his own arm. I hear the scene is very gruesome, but it's getting great reviews.

I took my youngest two to see Megamind while my wife and two oldest went to the latest Harry Potter thing. Megamind was entertaining. I thought it dragged some in the middle but it did pick up for a great ending. Nice soundtrack to it. I never thought I would see an animated kids movie featuring AC/DC, Ozzy, Guns & Roses with some Michael Jackson thrown in. Movie had lots of LOL moments.
I am getting tired of kids movies but this was one of the better ones.

Saw this last weekend. Was going to head to the Camelview 5 to see it, but got a screener copy in the mail the day before and watched in the comfort of my home (without audience clutter). HIGHLY recommend this.


James Franco should score an Oscar nom and the photography is breathtaking. Filmmaker Danny Boyle does know how to construct a lively, entertaining narrative despite the fact that the protagonist is trapped alone for the majority of the film. THE scene is difficult to watch but of course necessary and compelling. Among the better films of the year.

I just watched this trailer. I'll be looking forward to seeing this one. James Franco and Danny McBride are reunited and Natalie Portman featured in gratuitous nudity.

I was entertained by due date. Certainly not an award winner but it was entertaining.

THE FIGHTER -- very worthwhile, based on true story... and character study makes this much better than the usual boxing flick. Acting is outstanding, and Christian Bale is deserving of all the rave reviews and virtually certain supporting Oscar nomination.

TRUE GRIT -- Coen brothers productions are always a must see. This is enjoyable adaptation.

Looking forward to seeing The Fighter (True Grit as well). I saw quite a few of "Irish" Mickey Ward's fights. His three fights with Arturo Gatti were unbelievable. Some of the best fights ever. I saw it and liked it as well. Wahlberg did a good job and had some of Mickey's mannerisms down, but Bale basically became Dicky. He did a phenomenal job.

Watching A League of Their Own right now

i just watched kick ass for the first time OMFG!

I have The Town and Iron Man 2 coming from Netfilx today. We also rewatched the Bourne trilogy, such a fun set of movies.

With the exception of the last two, which were a little slow, I really liked all of them.

The Black Swan
the director did a great of job of drawing me into the depths of the main characters neuroses, I got the chills at the end when she became the black swan
