That's impressive. Can't beat a good rock show...

Thanks, Shadow. This was from Vancouver BC 2 nights ago, complete with crowd surfing.

Hey Shadow, of course it was an amazing show. Clocked in at about 3:15. Tons of sign requests of stuff I don't think they play much. One sign had a spinner and when Bruce spun it it came up "Steve's choice." He picked "Loose Ends" which I think is pretty rare, live.

Here's the set list for Portland:

Too funny. Loose ends is a nice one but damn you got Drive All Night too.

I'd kill to hear that one in phoenix next week.

"Growin Up" was a sign request too. The sign said "It's my 50th Birthday today and I'm not Growin Up." So Springsteen played it, and then for the last verse and chorus he invited the guy on stage to sing with him. That's one pretty cool birthday present. And he invited tons of people on stage throughout the show, kids, middle aged women, a group of women with t-shirts and a banner that said, "Lesbians Heart Bruce." It was just such a special night for so many people, part rock concert, part revival, part revisiting with an old friend.

Here's the review:

Heading up to Phoenix with some Bruce Juice on the IPOD blasting.

Going to meet up with some longtime friends from back east who are coming out for the show.

Hope we get a great one tonight.

Prediction Sam Moore from Sam and Dave fame guesting on a song.

Not a bad night over 3 hours of good rockin by a 63 year old!

Yep got Sam Moore on an outstanding Apollo Medley.

Other last night nuggets included, Be True, Trapped, Great Ghost Stories in My City of Ruins and Im a Rocker.

But when he pulls out Incident solo on the piano in the encores and nails it. That was my holy shit moment that we will never forget! :D

Sweet mother of God and all that is holy!

Bruce releases Uniondale NYE show from 1980 this morning at his website.

38 songs, 3hours and 48 minutes of great sound.

If you had to get just one complete show from the greatest live performer in the history of live performing this might be the one.

And only $9.95 hell I would have paid that for this shows version of "The Price You Pay"

Its going to be a great day!

The River Box Set came out Friday. Lots of goodies but we also got the Holy Grail.

Tempe 1980 River Show DVD.

I was at this show back in the day as a 19 year old kid but to get it on DVD well Ive been waiting a long time.

Us Bruce crazies have always believed that he is the greatest live performer in the history of live performing.

This DVD proves it.

The E Street band at their finest.

Pure Joy!

Had a party and shook the house watching it friday night. The smile still hasnt come off my face. :D
