A tradition like non other.

Im stoked for this years tourney. Tiger, Rory, Phil and about 25 other guys who have a shot.

Last year was great Sunday drama 8 guys led at different times for the last nine on Augusta.

Have lots of longshot wagers in and cant wait for tomorrow morning to get here.

What the heck, I'll raise this one from the ashes. I don't know if anyone else is watching The Masters, but it's shaping up for an awesome finish.

Jordan Spieth - 21 year old kid from Texas breaking records and leading by 5 strokes after 2 rounds. He's pretty much been the best golfer in the world for the last year and he draws inspiration from his special needs younger sister. A great player with a chance to take the game over for the next generation along with Rory.

Halfway through the 3rd round Spieth still leads by 5 strokes, but he's showing signs of cracking. And the guys hot on his heels are named Mickelson, Woods & McIlroy. This is going to be fun to watch.

Rough 17/18 for Spieth, but he's in good shape for Sunday. Hopefully it's close down he back-9 tomorrow.

Just watch the 18th hole live and now watching the replay. Set my alarm already for 2 AM China time to watch final round live.

What nerves by the kids to make par on 18 and maintain a 4 shot lead.

Can't wait to watch the final round. Hope they all play good and we get a photo finish. There is just nothing like the volatility of the masters. The other majors you can lose a lot of strokes quickly, but hard to make them up. The masters you can see a 6 stroke swing on just half the back 9. Truly amazing place.

It's one of my life dreams, bucket list.... to play a round of Golf at Augusta.

May your dream come true; and may you outlive your current bucket list, and complete it, so that you will have to create a second list. :)

Bucket list is right on Shoe. The toughest ticket in sports and when I got chosen in the lottery told the wife we are going no matter what. Having her uncle in Atlanta sure helped.

Our tickets were for the practice round on tuesday. It was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Walked the entire course (10 miles) and what doesnt show as much on TV is the elevation gains. Some of those fairways look like ski slopes. And some of those chutes they have to hit drives from the T box. Lets just say I would be playing pinball golf in those trees. Greens a little slower with the humidity this week but still faster than anything Ive ever seen. Goosebump moment when Arnie came to the outdoor cafe they have set up for the Members only near the practice putting green everyone stood up and gave him a standing O! Got to see where Bubba hit the wedge in the trees, Phil with his amazing shot between the trees off the pine straw and lots more too. Cool thing no phones but cameras allowed for the practice rounds.

Have a lot more stories about the place and over 300 pics. One day over beers Shoe.

On this years tourney. That flop shot Jordan hit on 18 under that pressure. Amazing. Hope Phil gets hot early and cant wait for the back nine today!

Next on the Bucket list. The Kentucky Derby. Next year I hope.

That's awesome, Shadow. I need to try for tickets from now on. Would love to get there just once, much less play there. I've taken a tour of Churchill Downs, but didn't see a race there.

Read an article while there and said they release "Hundreds" of tickets each year for the lottery.

No wonder its the toughest ticket in sports.

My buddy has been trying for years and never got picked. I feel lucky got em in my 2nd year of trying.

Cheap too. Paid just $135 for the two. They were going on Stub Hub for $440 each.

Wife said we should sell them. I told her to bite her tongue.

Another great line I read while there that was so true.

Augusta National where you can feel yesterday.

Spieth with a Bogey on 5 keeps Rose within 3 and Phil within 6.

Very impressive. I don't know if he realizes it yet, but he just got crazy rich. The endorsements are coming.

I wonder if Nike will put him on the team with Tiger and Rory. If so, he can certainly say good-bye to commercial air travel.

Signed a 10 year deal with Under Armour in 2013

Made about $4.5M in endorsements in 2013, have to assume this total has risen steadily the last 2 years, but he probably still sits comfortably 3rd but a gap behind Tiger and Rory.

NetJets has one of his sponsors for quite some time so I'm sure he hasnt experienced commercial air travel in awhile.

yeah, 16th in the Golf Digest money ranking they show him about 6 M off course, 6 M on course, total 12.2 M. I think you saw the previous years report. The latest one didn't come up at top of google list for some reason.

I'm sure he cracks the top 10 by the end of this year, maybe higher.

By the way, in case anyone is wondering, baseball lags WAY WAY behind in endorsement deals compared to Golfers.

Per Forbes

Quote:
Baseball’s biggest stars are crushing it when it comes to their playing salaries, but off the field, it is different story. There is a void in baseball’s endorsement landscape with the retirement of Derek Jeter last year. The New York Yankees’ captain was pulling in $9 million a year from sponsors, twice as much as any other player in the game.

Spieth is the early leader trying to win back-to-back green jackets.

Cool article on amateur Bryson DeChambeau (he's going pro next week) who takes an analytical approach to the game, including using a set of irons that are all the same length. Last one to try that was some guy named Bobby Jones.
