The Mariners have claimed catcher Tuffy Gosewisch off waivers from Atlanta. RHP Jonathan Aro has been designated for assignment.

Matt Davidson has finally been getting some playing time with the White Sox

Still swinging and missing like crazy, but 2 HRs over his 6 games

I was in Atlanta over the weekend to see the first games at their new ballpark. It was fun seeing banners of Swanson and Inciarte hanging among the other Braves players as well as seeing Ender hit the first HR in the new park. And by fun I mean bleh. Nice park, not without it's glitches. It's bent towards those who like to spend money, so we'll see how well Atlanta fans like it after a couple of years.

I was wondering if you were going to make the first game in Atlanta. Glad you did.

Yes, I believe I'm up to 49 MLB stadiums total and the first ever game at 13 of them. Need Oakland & Tampa to hurry up and build new parks!

Atlanta has great fans, but it was painful to see all of the Swanson & Inciarte shirts/jerseys. Swanson hasn't got it going yet, but Ender is off to a nice start.

Looks like Segura out 1-2 months with ankle injury

Too bad, he was playing really well and proving last year was no fluke.

According to Dominican journalist Hector Gomez, the Mariners' contract extension with Jean Segura is for five years and will be worth $70 million.

If Segura continues his production from the past two years that's a steal for the Mariners.
