Figured a drop zone to comment on AL Playoffs.

Still top 1 in NY, Minnesota up 3-0 on a couple of homers still only 1 out, runner on first.

Severino pitching for Yankees and getting drilled.

Hope nothing like this happens to us tomorrow night.

And Severino it out of there after getting just 1 out, as he allows another hit.

Oden must be smiling somewhere

Woohoo! I can't sit down. Nothing better than hearing MFY fans booing in the 1st.

What the president meant to say, was... ;)

Trevor Bauer to start Game 1 of the ALDS for the Tribe
To both save Kluber's arm, and because Francona says Bauer is the arm best equipped to pitch again on short rest, if needed.

Didi Gregorious, who had his second 20 homer season this year and ended up .287 25 HR 87 RBI for the MFY just hit a 3 run bomb to tide the game.

Just never saw him developing this much power. And it's not just Yankee Stadium right field cheapies. 13 road homers, 12 at home this year.

Can't let the MFY back in it, give the runs right back...

Bauer is a horse.

Went 17-9, with a 4.19 ERA, which is 109 ERA+

He finished very strong....going 10-2, with 3.01 ERA in the second half.

He's not as good as Kluber of course......but if he gets a win in a game 1, then Cleveland is really set up for the rest of the post season as it also means Kubler could be in line for Game 1 start of ALCS if the Division series goes 4 or 5 games. Either way, Cleveland is a great team.

Those MFY fans boos didn't last long. They continue to be Twins kryptonite in the post-season. Go Cleveland.

So if the D Backs make it the World Series who would you most like them to face ?

Cleveland, Boston, Houston, or MFY ?

Would love to see Houston win it all if AZ doesn't. Altuve and Correa are fun to watch and Verlander has been great since going to the Astros.

The Yankees and Red Sox are weaker than the Indians and Astros.

But the Red Sox kill ground ball pitchers, and we have the 2nd highest GB% of any team in MLB, (Rockies are first)

So if we want to win, then I think we need to face MFY as our best chance.

If we don't make it to the world series, then for sure my rooting interest goes to the AJ Hinches

Sounds good. Count me in with that, as well; in spades, if the MFD are the NL team in the WS.

AJ Hinch going from how his time with the Dbacks went to being a champion with Houston would be a pretty cool story too

#424 on my list of about 3000 things about baseball I've been wrong about...

He was promoted too soon, would you pass up the job if the GM sang your praises and said he has an "unconventional hire in mind."

He has even said in interviews he is much more ready now and he wasn't then.

This is about my own short-sightedness and not about Hinch's ability to manage, then or now.

Kudos to you, sir. Not everyone would be willing to admit to that.
