No worries. I kept looking at it, trying to figure out what needed to be fixed - and I didn't get it the first time. Duh...

I just copied the link as it was in the browser. Normally works on MLB.com!

They had that AB live on MLBN and I thought it was going to at least hit the wall after it left his bat.

Link from Joe

(for future reference, when you do the url= thing it should be this: any text here and you have to put something

edit- still didnt work with the original link, so I made a new one on tinyurl.

What Joe's original link was missing was the "http://" between the "url=" and the rest of the actual url for the link.

Here's what Joe meant to post: ;)

It used to really confuse me when I first tried to do it, now I just select the text, click the URL tool, go back two spaces and insert the HTTP://______ between the URL= and the ]. PC or laptop probably required, don't know how to do it with a phone or tablet.

If he hadn't been such a slacker, he'd have hit it hard enough to get out of the ballpark.

From ESPN.

Quote:
Final: Padres 7, Diamondbacks 2

Justin Upton hit a 2-run go-ahead HR in the 5th and San Diego tacked on 3 more in the 6th to hold off Arizona. Upton is tied with Arizona's Paul Goldschmidt for the 3rd-most go-ahead HRs in MLB over the past 5 years.

But I was told he couldn't do clutch things by azcentral ;)

Hasn't had a good June, but I'm sure we all just knew he would do something like this at least once before the series was over.

Give him the two homeruns he was robbed and see what his triple slash improves to .

One of the best plays I have ever seen him make in the outfield.

Leaping catch to rob a HR from McCutchen

Hasn't been able to get his swing going for a little while (is his streakiness kind of a thing where his swing mechanics or timing at the plate just wind up being slightly off sometimes?), but that was really impressive.

That can't be our Upton, He's way too lazy to even try something like that! Just ask all the fans at Chase.

I saw a few people on the Dbacks facebook page who were PISSED that someone had Upton in their franchise 4 but forgot to pick Goldy too.

One of the top comments on there.

It was clear that they were pissed not because of Goldy being left out but by Upton's inclusion only. Others left him out (one even put Damian Miller) and didn't receive much flak at all. So are they pissed that everytime he faces up he lights us up? or because they bought the FO's "He's too lazy, not a team player babble"?

Definitely looks like they bought into the spin from the radio guys and the FO.

One person used the "not a team player" BS, another said we should have traded "wonder boy" sooner. One said "Thank God" he wasn't a choice in the vote...... why?

Along with that Damian Miller one, amused by the two who had O'Brien and Tomas in their top 4.

I thought about posting something, but you can get nothing through their skulls.

Soon to be ex-Padre?

Heard a report earlier today that a trade was close.

Mets, O's, Houston?

I saw that Baltimore and Houston were interested but I didn't see that it was close

Would love to see him in either of those parks though

Teams holding off due to a tweaked oblique.

And I feel dumber every time I listen to Doug and Wolfie talk about Upton.

I did not listen, but I assume some character attacks were involved.

This was followed by one saying the Padres are officially sellers.

Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 2h2 hours ago

JUpton could return from minor oblique strain today, but #Padres might hold him out until tomorrow to be safe. Most likely SD player to go.
