While much of what you say I agree with, the reason Mr. Laurenzi lost his job had nothing to do with Ryan Braun or anything that Braun said or insinuated. Laurenzi lost his job because he made a procedural error and left his employer vulnerable to, at the very least, some bad publicity. People who can't do their jobs correctly lose them every day. This is totally independent from what Ryan Braun did or didn't do. What Braun does owe Laurenzi an apology for is insinuating that he (Laurenzi) is an anti-Semite.

From a legal standpoint, Braun's apology probably checked a box, allowing him to never address this situation again. But from a real-life perspective, this is only going to cause him more problems.
We all know he threw a common man under a bus, a man who collected urine for a living.
We all know he lied to our face in the past, at a press conference in Maryvale.
If he was really interested in forgiveness, he'd speak from the heart. But that assumes he has one.

Justice served. Alex Rodriguez has been suspended for the entire 2014 season by arbitrator Fredric Horowitz, who reduced the New York Yankees third baseman's ban from 211 games to 162 for his involvement in Major League Baseball's Biogenesis scandal.
Hopefully it's the last we'll see of the career-long cheat on the field.

In a reversal from his public statements, Alex Rodriguez told federal agents in January that he had used performance-enhancing drugs supplied by a South Florida clinic, according to a report in The Miami Herald.
Rodriguez, a Yankees third baseman who was recently reinstated after serving a season-long doping suspension, offered his admission after federal prosecutors granted him immunity in a wide-ranging investigation of Anthony Bosch and his clinic, Biogenesis of America, The Herald said. The Herald’s report was based on a 15-page synopsis of the meeting between Rodriguez and federal agents on Jan. 29.
Rodriguez, who has repeatedly denied the use of performance-enhancing drugs in connection with Bosch, told investigators that he paid Bosch about $12,000 a month for his services and substances, including prefilled syringes with hormone injections into his stomach, The Herald said. Bosch also gave Rodriguez “tips on how to beat M.L.B.'s drug testing,” the report said.

After hitting .254/.293/.423/.716 in April coming off thumb surgery, Braun comes into the All Star break with a slash line of .275/.340/.495/.835.
He also joins Nelson Cruz and Jhonny Peralta as previously suspended PEDers in this year's All Star game.
